Still Aemond is my favourite character, cause he is the most complexe character. He has darkness inside his soul, but yet a strange type of remorse and honor in his veins. You never know what he is going to do next, both, the young and the old actor of Aemond portray this role so interesting to watch.

Aemond is basically Daemon with the letter D at the back instead of the front of the name. The genius of that by GRRM is it already tells you they are very similar to each other yet oppose each other vehemently and will be bitter rivals. I love the look of Aemond they've gone for in the series. I like that Aemond didn't start out as a psychopath, and that there is an overall trend of Targaryens being unable to fully control their dragons now. It sets the stage for the end of the Age of Dragons in Westeros in my opinion. I think that Aemond's full descent into bloodlust and carnage will be because of the Blood & Cheese fiasco, and I like that the show is trying to paint both sides in a grey light because that's more interesting than the book. Really elevates the source material. Additionally I like that they are showing Daemon as the grey amoral bastard he is, whose love for his family is equally countered by his lust for power and desire for violence. Before you are about to bash Daemon for choking Rhaenyra. Guys, don't forget Daemon is not a shining prince on a white horse.. he's a ruthless killer, a selfish and impulsive person, who can't forever hide certain parts of his personality. Can't wait to see their legendary battle over the God's eye 🐉🔥 Ewan Mitchell playing Aemond looks just as badass as Matt Smith. Great performance from Ewan and Matt an Episode 10. Slightly have a feeling that his role as Aemond will catapult Ewan to 'stardom."
