What T-Mobile plan do you have? T-Mobile told me the would close my account if I resides in the PI permanently.

Hey Tim. As long as you have a US bank account to pay from and an address in the US it's not a problem. I lived in canada for several years and still used my t-mobile phone and number. T-mobile doesn't need to know where you live either. My t-mobile plan is pre-paid. $15 a month. $15 Connect by TMO UNL Talk&Text w/ 3GB Data. You can disable account (stop paying) for a few months if you don't need it to save money, then 'top up' when you do need it. If you are living there permanently than magicjack is great, just the banking issue and messages from them can be an issue. Hope that helps.

Do you have your US phone with you when you're going to use a credit card in the Philippines for Two-factor authentication? Are you still using tmobile 15.00 plan in the Philippines?

I have used my old extra phone the last couple of years with the T-Mobile sim card while in the Philippines. I recently bought a new phone. Motorola Edge. It has dual sims. One is an 'e-sim' and the other physical sim. The e-sim is the t-mobile account and the physical sim is my globe sim. Only need one phone now. The Two-factor authentication works just fine as long as I am on wi-fi. Gotta have wifi calling enabled. As far as the $15.00 plan. It also doesn't matter where you are in the world. As long as I am connected to wifi my phone works as it does in the USA. Hope that helps. Cheers!
