Conditioners and cables tend to polarize opinions. Years ago I bought some massive PS Audio speaker cables (they were on sale) for front, left and centre. Could I hear a difference over 12 g speaker cable? Yeah maybe. I know, let's wait for them to burn in. Several years later I was cabling new surround speakers and had some 12g cable left over. I rewired the front speakers just to see(hear): no difference. Sold the PS Audio cables on E-Bay. So all that stuff about cables and conditioners is just snake oil, right? Well...............maybe not. Recently, a friend lent me an Audioquest NRG 4 power cable. I turned everything off, took out the cable to my Denon AVR X8500HA, plugged in the Audioquest cable and turned everything back on. Oh shit. Definite improvement in both sound and picture. Subtle difference in sound but noticeably improved. The picture was as if I had bought a different TV. Now I have to start going down rabbit holes again. 😢😢😢😢
