I've a mono system. It's been about a year I guess I can take it for 6 months more. However, this is heavy dude. And the worst part is it looks kinda elevated because of the thick base

I just got mine from lord hair. The new tfree-B Unit may say it lasts 6 months, but the hair quality thats on it is gonna last 2 months, before it dries out and won't accept any moisture. No matter if I use best conditioning products. So it doesn't matter what unit you get for longevity if the hair quality is crap. I emailed them like wtf is this shit. Lavivid is good quality but they charging too much for customer preferred units aka hybrids. Nearly $410 smh. They doubled their prices for same units. Like they expect a bmw car payment a month, for their $70 product that they are reselling.

REALLY want to try a hair system and want to start off with an extremely short hair style ( a step up from a buzz cut), care to offer advice on which type of system may be best?
@Keriken

@Fagoooooo I’d prefer a longer one really, but I don’t want to show up to work with 4 inch long hair after being bald. Haha. I’m not entirely set on the process and wanting to then explain to everyone at work how I defied the laws of physics and grew hair so quickly. 🤣

In my opinion it looks fantastic! The hairline is extremely natural. Honestly, I believe it's the best I've seen on Chris. I've tried that same model and love it. I can even wear an exposed hairline although I rather mine a little more on my forehead. I've had French lace, thin skin, any hybrid, and I personally do not feel any difference on my head...but then again I've neve felt anything from the very start. I know some guy's say it feels like a baseball cap... I never felt that at all! They are tougher and hence the longevity factor. However, I get the extra light density so it doesn't last quite as long for me....about three months which I think is good. I'd love to see you get one, and give your opinion on it, Jake. Thanks for the video.

Its seems like he got the best of both worlds, believability and durability, for me thats important because I live in the Philippines and getting a new system every 4 months is not economical, plus the logistics of shipping it here , especially with this pandemic, I am scheduled to get a French lace mono combined, the hair sytem is usually has a lifetime of a year, after 20 years of shaving my head, I am excited to make the transition.

With the shortage if units out there we all have no choice but to experiment. Im currently wearing a mono with French lace hair line. I gotta say, the mono material is absolutely a dream. Super easy to cut to my templet, super easy to clean and although its slightly more of a rough material, i still cant even notice it while its attached. I dont think id rock a mono hairline, so props to Chris L.. Jake, the system you're wearing now looks killer. Or maybe its the style. Either way, im diggin it
