The next question could be: who is it comparing and what for? And the next question: who am I? it helped me in the form of a human being a lot to expose myself to this type of questions and always receive guiding answers from a deeper place of consciousness, than the place i originally put the question into space. That's the journey 🙂

Human brain (which operates through the center - “me) is million years old and there may be some in-built mechanisms built around the center, which is so old. Comparison is such an old automated unconscious act. So when the “me” or the center operates through million years of living, comparison becomes an automatic / unconscious activity. The brain is always comparing (even at sleep) may be without our knowledge, that we are doing such act at all. Without comparison the “me” cannot exist or it cannot flower. It wants to live, so the comparison goes on unconsciously. Comparison gives life to the “me” or try to make it stronger.

I understand comparison gives rise to growth mindset, but how to deal with comparison when it becomes too toxic for one to act productively ? It kind of becomes demeaning and derogatory to the self, which makes it all-the-more pathetic for the self, musing upon one's short comings/failures. 😓

How do you know that you are right? How do you know that you are not wrong. I always ask these two questions whenever I propose a hypothesis.

Well if someone tells me- 'You are stuck in a rut.' I would have reacted for sure. After watching this video, I would say- 'Tell me how. I would like to know.'

No. You have to put that question to yourself. So that both the question and the answer is yours. Even though somebody prompted it.

Your “self” is not different from the other’s “self”. Once this is understood, there r only thoughts in consciousness and all consciousness can be put aside

I do compare myself with those people who don’t have the comforts and bounties of life for their day- to-day living, and not with those people who are filthy rich. It gives me gives me immense contentment, satisfaction and pleasure of living life to the hilt.

I think this become more difficult if we’re great person and receive so many praise. I start comparing myself with other successful businessman after I succed in business and got so many people adore me. Before I got all of that, I never compared myself with any successful business man. And honestly I’m happier to be an ordinary people than to be ‘a great’ people.

Comparing is a component or ingredients of intellect and intellect is yours but not you( conciousness or higher intelligence without bounding and free from intellect) Intellect can not survive without comparing. I think Simple
