@ I appreciate it! Let’s get you there as fast as possible but integrate it into the “slow mornings” bc what’s the point if you’re not enjoying your life and experiences along the way!

@@AuthenticLivingWithEmilie Advice, gosh - I think you're ahead of me tbh, but I'll share some thoughts: 1. When I got into shares a little over a year ago (after an unsuccessful foray long ago, just prior to the GFC), I experienced an inflated sense of urgency about the whole thing, like urgent reflexes to BUY BUY BUY and SELL SELL PANIC-SELL ...before I realised that you have to play the long game. So the dips don't freak me out so much these days, and I no longer do the goldminer's dance every time there's a little jump in the market! Secondly and most dear to me: Ethics. Me and my family (3 of us) were doing ok until a series of unlucky incidents decimated us financially. We encountered a lot of flashy, vulture-like, unethical people in that time, so I've made ethics an absolute priority in my investing. No war profiteering, no eco-destroying ventures, and no investments that profit from widening the gap between rich and poor. My mission is simply to fund a dignified retirement and set up a good passive income stream for junior, who has certain challenges that will make it difficult for them to work much. Anyway that's where I'm at :)

Thank you for sharing! ♥For a long time I thought that I was the only one who felt this way. I believed everyone had life figured out and that I was just behind, or weak, or not normal. I always felt like an outsider. But the more I've open up on this journey, the more I see that there are so many of us with similar thoughts, feelings and experiences. Love that we are all coming together and sharing!

Why call them "unfair" advantages? You went to school and earned the degree. I totally relate to believing you don't have the skills to earn much. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for much for your comment! I think many of us feel that we don't have the skills to earn much. But having worked so long 1:1 with clients, I've come to learn that so many of us have such incredible skills and assets. We just were not taught how to use them. I hope my videos will help you see all the amazing skills that you have!
