I'm so glad you taxid that 4 star elk! Not only will it be a cool memory, but I like how WOTH lets you go back into your hunt log and see the proof of the hunt as well. Makes that trophy that much more rewarding.

When going on the front porch of the Bear Den Ranch at around 11am and you look at the river down in the distance you'll find a solitary low-fit elk. Then you can go up the hill at the back and get to a small clearing around 1050 yards with a solid view of said river. There, I have shot the elk numerous times with the .338 lapua mag and it never goes more than 150 yards with solid shot placement.

A couple of years ago my sons and I spent some time in COTW riding ATV's up the side of the big mountain in the middle of the African map then when we got on top we placed a tent up there and took turns jumping the ATV's into the vertical hole trying to see who could stay on the 4 wheeler all the way to the bottom where there is lava then we would respawn into the tent to do it again... great fun .. wish I had recorded the event ... so yes I would like to see shenanigans like that and long shots and anything else you can dream up ... let the games begin ..!

Have you tried maxing the view distance quality? I believe that improves the render range. That or the surveyors lookout is 700m+ higher elevation than the swamps to the east south east. Dropped a moose at 1.5km where it stood with the 338 lm

This video was awesome and it's great that you're focusing on your own enjoyment as well as ours! I absolutely LOVE long range shots in hunting games and congrats on all of these trophies! The only thing needed to make long range better, as we know, are higher powered scopes and spotting scopes. This would allow you to do this more ethically and save you from making poor decisions on which animals to shoot. This would be so much fun to watch on future WOTH streams as well. Can't wait to see all the "creative" content you have come up with!

Something I’ve enjoyed doing from way of the hunter is rolling up on some deer and trying drop one as they are fleeing. It’s kind of like a carnival game that I crack up doing 🙂

You should make a video where you try to get really close to animals and take them down with a small rifle. Like taking down a moose with the 30/30. I had a group of mule deer today literally touch me before they spooked. I was laying on a weird slope so I couldn't even get a shot, I kept glitching out. I could have gotten a 1 meter kill.
