Can you Make a Bacon Roll using BCB Crusader Cooking System

I was hoping to see you cook with the crusader cup as that is half of the 'system'. Disappointed but I'll get over it.

Hi sorry for that I did cook bacon in the cup but the image and the video was not very good, but I should of included it in the video, you need to keep the bacon moving in the cup. I normally cut up and add beans and have a all in one breakfast. Maybe I will do another video and do some more dishes in the cup if people are interested.

Thanks for sharing, i tried this using a mess tin and i found i ended up having to use a couple of fuel tabs, that was also for a pack of bacon too though so that could of been part of what made it take so long

Yes, you can. but not as easily as you can with a Trangia set. The price is about the same and they are superior in just about every way when you want to cook actual real food. Anyone would think they were designed to do the job, not just boil water to reheat MRE's eh. But what do I know?

I would struggle after the 3rd Bacon roll lol if you mean the water bottle its 1L, the cup holds 500ml but I would only put about 250ml to brew up. Boils in less than 8 min I have a video going in more details on the BCB fuel blocks.

Sorry its not movie quality, I'm just a guy doing videos for fun, one of which has 9.5K views, I can hear it just fine. Not sure why the sound drops at sections maybe when converting it to YOutube. can't afford at external microphone sorry. WIll take a film crew next time I go in the woods ;-)

Nope ;-) but the bacon butty thing started with someone saying you can’t cook meat using a jet boil, bacon is cheap ;-) then the bacon butty test started as a true way of testing camping stoves. Now I fancy a egg banjo lol

The bacon roll bit is a series of my stove reviews , started years ago say they jet boil was only good for water. You could easy cook bacon in the cup however. The video was more a review of the cook set, with the bacon roll being a running gag.
