Try using currants instead of raisins, They are subtler and add fantastic flavor. I put them in bracciole stuffing as well.

This reminds me of the spaghetti pie that you cook in the oven but without the meatballs. I suppose you could use the recipe for the pie and then make the bowls. YUMMY

And.., u forgot how Fantastic it Taste. Yes, Raisins give a little sweetness to the meat. Frankie , I have a friend who's Italian mom would put raisins in her meatballs. I never knew anyone else who put raisins in her meat🤔 until you, Frankie, ha🤗 I have to make this a spaghetti bowl🥰

What about putting the spaghetti into a larger oven safe bowl, then like when you compressed the first pasta bowl, LEAVE IN a smaller oven safe bowl to force the spaghetti to keep that shape. Sorta the same way decorative bowls are made out of concrete… which is what these pasta bowls will turn into tomorrow.

Looks very interesting & I will try it. Except raisins in meatballs, just no!. It's almost as worst as putting sultanas in savoury dishes.....just disgusting 🫣
