That's fine that Blackwell is the founder of Island Records but he could have added that there was a Blackwell's Island which is now called Roosevelt Island and was home to a notorious women's asylum, amongst other things. It has an island connection at least - but not an island group of course.

The Lofoten islands form part of the Norwegian Sea. The northern 'border' of the North Sea is the Shetlands; the Lofotens are much, much further north (within the Arctic Circle). I imagine only a tiny minority of people in the UK would be aware of their existence.

Not surprising really. Hardly mind blowing lack of knowledge - it's in the language. Ask someone to name groups of islands and they will name the nice sunny ones, the holiday destinations, the tropical paradises - all the ones that the word 'island' conjures up. Plus they only have a 100 seconds to name as many as possible. A group of islands that fall within the Artic Circle? probably the last one of anyones list - unless of course you live in that part of the world. I actually chose Lofoten as my answer - I had a feeling it was from Northern Europe somewhere - a lucky guess maybe.

Bad sportsmanship? or clever gameplay? - that's what I saw any way, pretty smart and cunning if you ask me - in any case, the smiles and looks on their faces when saying 'inheritance' - it was clear they were up to something.
