Can You Open Pour Style Plastic Into Injection Molds?

Not finding any video's on this I had to find out if you could just pour hot plastisol into injection molds. Does it work? What do you think happened?

Thats an idea haha. I was just trying to see I it would actually work without an injector. I've got a triple injector now so gonna have more interesting videos coming soon.

I think you need a vent. Your getting air trapped in the corners

These molds are vented. They are injection molds so they are ment to have plastic shot into them with an injector which forces the air through the vents. When it's poured like I was doing you don't have as much positive pressure so the air was staying trapped. This was just an experiment to see if it could work.

my thoughts are that the plastic gets too cooled off in order to create a vacuum in the smaller portion of the bait! now if the orientation of the bait providing gravity vertically then it would work possibly with enough heat. I Hope that made sense brother? Great video and that color in the beaver mold would be sick asf .

Yea I think it just won't work some baits. The vertical style ones would have a better chance.

What if you poured the plastic an used the injectors to push a little air into it an then topped it off
