I get a lot of questions about different types of paint, whether you need a primer, and if you can paint Laminate, IKEA furniture or Glossy Previously-Painted Surfaces without sanding, so, I thought I would put all of these questions to the test and come up with some answers for you!!
I will be testing Chalk Paint and Regular Dulux Water-Based Paint, both with and without primers, and on a variety of surfaces, all without sanding! Then we will put these surfaces to the test and see how well they hold up! I do a bonus test at the end too, so make sure you don’t miss that!
I love creating Hamptons Style DIY projects on a budget, and I would love for you to stick around, subscribe and check out my other videos too! Thanks so much for watching and hope this helps give you some inspiration for all those DIY projects sitting around at your place!!

NOTE: Chalk Paint is still very hard to find in Australia, the one I'm using is from Spotlight but I'm not as impressed as I was hoping to be, and I know Bunnings is supposed to have the Rustoleum brand chalk paint but the colours available are very limited (and hard to get during COVID 19!). So keep an eye out for chalk paint and let me know if you find a great one that's easily available in Australia! x
