I fail to comprehend that once we go to any bank / AMU for showing interest in investing under the headings of Mutual Fund than it is the responsibility of professionals I am sure the must be expert in understanding all gain/ volatility in respective funds. Why they are not proactive with reference to fundamentals & Technical Analysis and guide or place a inbuilt system for automatically switching to the funds that can provide the optimum gain. Such options could they get while opening investment portfolio. Your endeavor in enhancing awareness is highly commendable. Suggestion why u or Faraz open such window for potential clients portfolio Management and does it in a more Scientific and Technically sound way or in a professional manners while keeping the mutual gain in the mind

Here YTD is fiscal year(ie July 2024 till now) I think and for now Equity funds are not performing well. Laeeq bhai has told everything very well but in my opinion, we should be invested in low risk for sometime now and then as soon as equity funds start to perform well, we can switch to high risk funds or even medium risk(like fund of funds etc.)

Looking at the graph, I guess your banker friend was right to invest in low risk mutual funds. Heigh risk funds are still lower than policy rate, considering beating the policy rate is bench mark.

@@aleem789 Dividend Investing is not that simple for layman. Everybody want monthly returns when there equity is profitable. when we invest our money in our own businesses , we get returns on every sale... In stock market , they dont pay us immediately, they roll our money multiple times and pay us only small fraction. every company accounts monthly so There should be monthly based payouts mechanism then think about Pakistan stocks.
