Wonderful cards as always Natasha. A card making hack that I have been using is to use old styrofoam vegetable trays cut into strips instead of foam tape. A great way to recycle and use what we already have. Try it!!!
@olivia89793 жыл бұрын
i wish i had a brilliant hack for using what I have, but I have a terrible habit of seeing something on KZbin or Pinterest or somewhere, loving it, needing it, ordering it immediately... and then no knowing what the heck I was going to do with it. I really admire how frugal you are. Your videos don't only inspire me to make cards but to be more appreciative of what I have.

Glad I'm not the only one ! I've bought stuff, put it away never to see the light of day until I come across it. I then usually have to Google to find out what it is used for. I am also guilty of buying the same items again and only realizing when putting it away 😊

Love them Tash. My hack is when my glitter gloss pen ran out I refilled it with water and put some perfect pearls in it. You can’t tell the difference from the original. Love your work as usual. Xx

You know what!? Besides how simply beautiful those cards are. . .. you reminded me that i also use an alternative to share. You know those cans of hair spray that come out for the holidays, I think, well I have glitter ones. One is silver another gold and the other holographic. But they're for your hair so they stick. I like to spray them on my finished cards and such.

Great to see that you put foam tape in the middle of your items that you pop up. I have seen other videos where crafters only put one square on each corner, therefore no support in the middle.

Oh wow, the glossy accents really looks beautiful on those foliage stamps - just enough interest without being too much. I realized I might actually need some kind of daisy die - I have so many of the larger enamel dots left over because I find them hard to use for “confetti” on my cards, but they would make perfect flower centers. I love how you focus on the basics that can be used over and over. I guess that’s the number 8 fencing wire culture of NZ at play - I remember being frustrated that we couldn’t get things cheaply and easily (I grew up in the NZ in the 70s-90s) but now I see the value in making do. It really encourages creativity and problem solving.
I love both cards. They give me so many ideas for small pieces of unused cardstock scraps!

Hi Natasha, both of your cards are simply gorgeous and I love how just taking the corners off the squares can make a big impact on the cards. And your cards just shows that they don’t have to be some big production to be a beautiful card. So thank you again for your great ideas and inspiration, your totally awesome!🥇

They look grest as always, I don't use green in my projects as often as I should, I must try it more often. Thanks for sharing 💖 My crafty hack is to use Poundland glitter paint from the kids craft section applied with a sponge brush also from the kids craft section of Poundland instead of using glitter card or glitter in my projects because glitter usually makes me itch...the paint however doesn't because I don't have to handle it like I would when using glitter card stock & it doesn't get everywhere like tubes of glitter. Also If like me, you make fairy doors, the Poundland glitter paint works well on top of other paints for that hint of fairy dust/sparkle & a bottle lasts for ages 😆
