HI Mark thanks for sharing. I watched a video review of the new thermal DNT scope. It cost more BUT it's better thermal sensors definitely make a difference. Have a great relaxing Sunday sir 🇬🇧👍🏼

Yes, the 225 has been around for almost 10 months, considering it was at the shooting show back in February. Within that time, they came up with the latest 225R for production, and because the designers never stand still, have developed it with two more thermal lenses and upgraded the scope design and rangefinder. It makes you wonder what they'll have in another year. Have you seen the new dedicated DNT Hydra thermal camera available in the USA?

Personality I would only use thermal to spot and use ir to identify an shoot so wouldn’t worry about zeroing thermal as imo it isn’t good enough for accurate target identification. Nice video 👍

THE NEW DNT THERMAL SCOPE IS VERY GOOD BUT MORE £

Yes, that's what I do anyway. Once you have identified the target with the ir, or dayscope you can take the shot with either, but the next generation thermal are better for this, but cost more. The 225 is quite good enough for airgun users. Once you start talking firearms for distances above 100 yards, then a better thermal option makes more sense, even though you can still identify targets well past 100 yards with the 225r.

@ tbh I use a thermal camera mounted on the end of my barrel linked to my mobile mounted on the side of my 5-20 LRF an it works for me, can’t really justify spending another £1000 on another sight although seems god value fir money
