For those who didn't understand:-We cannot calculate the sum of balance as they are at different time intervals based on how the money spended. Simply, we are not allowed to add the balance after spending For those who don't understand:- Let , You have 100 rupees (net balance) , Step-1: You have spent 2 rupees, Now you have 98 rupees ( net balance= 98 rupees ) ( Spent=2 rupees ) Step -2: You have spent 8 rupees Now you have 90 rupees ( Net balance = 90rupees) ( Spent =8 rupees) Now according to his question, add all the money you have after you spent 98 + 90 = 188 And we all know that 188 is not equal to 100 ( i.e. Net balance before you spend) In this way , He added each value of money that he has after he spent, Thus, we can only be able to add the value of money we have spent, but not the value of money we have after we spend. Because they are never meant to be equal . For example If you have 100 rupees and spend 10 ruppee for 10 times you spend 100 rupees but you have total 90+80+70+60+50+40+30+20+10 rupee's which equals to 450 rupees . You basically made us think that it should be equal by manking the number close like 50 and 51
