Black hair styles amaze me. I didn’t know this type of style was possible until recently. A black coworker that I see in passing a lot was totally bald one day and came back the next day with super long braids that looked like they showed her scalp. When the pandemic hit and I ended up with covid19, I thought that was the greatest of my worries, because I already suffer from lung disease. But when my hair fell out? OMGOSH!!! I saved the whole bag. But thank God I have a primary care person who gave me options that worked for me! Biotin everyday. A great supplement. Tea tree oil for dryness, and medicated shampoo. Now I have a head full of hair, but having trouble finding my favorite relaxer.

Absolutely beautiful. As I watched the video I was amazed by the step bystep outcome. I couldn’t figure out where you we’re going with it. I have had long natural hair in which I usually wore a pony tail, or a 70’s knot . I was my hair and was loving how I could still rock it naturally. Then a year ago my thyroid went haywire and unchecked soon enough. The end result was my hair broke from the middle of my back to above my shoulders and fell out. So thinking I had no alternative, I shaved both sides of my hair/head, ultimately keeping one side shaved. I never realized how my hair was so connected to who I was. I took that for granted and believed it wouldn’t change since I was already 63.I wish I was more versed with weaves and had just given my hair time to grow back. After watching your video, I felt inspired to get my ponytail back. Lol. For ladies whose hair is going through changes as you age, you are an inspiration. Such a beautiful job!

I'd totally get a wig, but not one of the thick fashion wigs that are too hot. My mom had a short haired airy wig from Japan that looked totally natural black and grey and it didn't wear out or anything. No heat styling required. You could just wash it. And because it wasn't glued onto the head you could just take it off and wash your head and be comfortable at home and at night. I don't know how so many ladies stand being under so much material in summer and all day and night.

In countries where people often have a hard time sweating they drink hot drinks and eat hot soup in summer to kickstart the sweating and cool down. I don't have a hard time sweating but I hate summer, I only feel human when it's cold and there's no A,C here.

The glue is unhealthy for scalp & will give u baldness. It's bit just the pulling it's also the chemic a ls in glue. Some people like me has allergic reaction. My scalp would itch and peel and my hair would peel away as well. I knew rt away this was going yo give me severe scalp issues. It's not worth being bald. Find another style that don't require all that glue & allow scalp to breathe! It's like suffocating yo scalp with a rubber cap...in the sun!
