ship only respawns when yu hit a mermaid, so their ship is non existant until then,

The problem with Devil’s Roar is that even if you made liberal use of food and crewmate revives to withstand the constant molten barrage, nobody ever goes there and you simply wouldn’t see any other ships for the whole seven days.
