I didn't use any weapon specifically. Pretty much used whatever I got on my hand. I was also test driving Martial Artist perk from Dynamic Traits mod. While not as good as a weapon, I didn't rely on it too much since it felt a little cheese. But it didn't make much of a difference since same rules apply, get careless and you die.
