At 18:00 I was actually thinking the same thing. A person in such a position through no fault of their own has become trapped in a support structure that would make it extremely difficult to leave. While there are other avenues for people handicapped in that way, for someone like her to leave the organization, it would be an extremely difficult transition. For someone with sight and hearing it's hard enough, but for someone without those senses it would be traumatic. She may not feel this way herself, but I feel bad for her. She'll have to keep active in the preaching work and attending meetings in order to be useful to the organization, otherwise she'll be cut off.

I am so glad that when I was in(1980's), watchtower didn't have that kind of control over me. I always chose my own hotel for staying at, and during Most Conventions("ASS-emblies") I stayed with my Non-JW Mother.
