You might survive the southern part but once you reach the middle you are in another universe. Swamps, pythons, wild animals - Lions, Cheetahs, Éléphants, anything can eat you. wild and savage people, cannibals, Intensely hot weather, Sometimes no people you will be alone for miles. You will take a boat or use a destroyed plane to reach the north. Once in Sudan you are better off. Sudan is way better and welcoming.

You can still walk through it, hundreds of thousands of refugees do it every year. Also just because the ice in the arctic isn’t technically land, you can still walk on it. The title says “the longest walkable route” not the longest walkable route on land.

South Africa is the most developed of all the countries mentioned lol. The police are somewhat effective You are most definitely safe walking across. Botswana is pretty safe as well.
