if you've seen makaio's new video about the "funny launch" there's a way to suspend game process and basically just retain momentum while your character falls through barriers. so im thinking if you did this after shooting out of a cannon at the barrier, you might be able to go through without being blackscreened

Theres a small island on the far east of the devils roar that's practically in the red sea. I used it for a gold hoarder quest and you could literally hear the red sea music.

As someone that has done that tall tale too many times, I have found many times that once you're beyond the "safe travel" area of the red sea, you black screen as soon as you leave your ship.

I don't think sharks spawn in the Shroud under normal circumstances - but the stretch between the Wilds and the Shores of Gold isn't 'normal' world boundary, it's effectively regular ocean with a flag to check if the boat sailing in it is on the appropriate tall tale or not. If not, they're damaged and eventually despawned. Barrels of Plenty also spawn in this stretch, which is not usual world boundary behaviour.

tried jumping in the red sea first time i visited the shores of gold, it also blackscreened me. don't think it's possible to be in the water in the last part what so ever

Maybe you could try to use a galleon, so you park the front of the galleon pointing west and then you use the srat of someone in the boat harpooning you, and because of the galleons legth i theorize you could get throught the zone by then jumping of the back of the galleon, and if you wanted to get more creative, you could get a rowboat and park a bit behind the galleon to have a bigger distance where to jump, kn order to get past the zone into the shores of gold

What if you sailed past the zone, but then swam back the other way? Would it still activate? Or maybe sailing completely past it will deactivate it for your crew since you've already made it to the island as far as the tall tale is concerned

same thing happens when you sail and bucket and repair like a boss, i could have saved you the effort you need the shroudbreaker attached to go there its the only way unfortunatly you will have to do the tall tales

No you can't , at the middle of the redsea , you'll get teleported to your ship

Go to the edge of the map and funny launch. If your pc is good; crank your fps to 400+ by putting your res on lowest possible or dismiss game while dolphin jumping.

Answer is no and nobody asked this question. See there's a barrier mid sea. Anyone who played for a while would know this as people would run to the area where you can't swim to prevent boarders back in the day.
