CAN YOU TELL WHICH ONE IS WHICH?? (High-Gain Tone Showdown)

I was trying out the Neural DSP Soldano plug-in today to experiment with some tonal variety. I filmed a full First Impression video but unfortunately a lot of the footage was unusable so I decided to make this head-to-head comparison instead!
This isn't my usual GarageBand preset but it is the amp/cab I usually use. I decided to make all the settings the same on both amps to see how they compared!
Gain: 7
Bass: 6
Mid: 6
Treble: 6 1/2
Presence: 6 1/2
Cab: 4x12
Mic: Dynamic 57
Mic Placement: Half way between outer edge and centre of speaker cone
Delay: 20%
No Additional EQ
Guitar: Kiesel A2
Pickups: DiMarzio Tone Zone (bridge) & Air Norton (neck)

Soldano is by far Neural DSP's best plugin. Perfect clarity, dynamics and response. That's why I'd like to see more amp emulations like this (and Mesa Boogie) instead of too many archetypes with artist signatures on them...

You can really hear the resonance of the guitar strap in tone A.

I could tell instantly that TONE A was Neural DSP lol I've never liked the crunch distortion tones on garageband/logic I only like the clean tones. That's why I bought Neural for the distortion sounds lol

For some reason the Garabeband one sounded more "Bridge-ey" to me, even though your picking and pickup position seems to be consistent from what I can see.

B is definitely garageband’s. I use logic and all of the amps suck for heavy tones, so I use Archetype Gojira which is killer

I did not imagine how good GarageBand is! Maybe because the sound of guitar is more in your hand (skills) than the equipament. So great, man!!

A is good. You may try the Amped Roots 2.0 amp sims as well. It’s pretty good, at least from what I’ve found

B sounds like there’s a filter on it, clamped, while A has full range.

B is so scooped the money for this dsp is hella worth. damn Now I don't want the RG stanrard I want the premium for the picksups. Di set XD with this you're set. or tim henson guitar with the voicings, can't decice haven't had an elertric guitar in a while.

A. I'm using soldano in amplitube 4 it's way better than other amps I tried.

Way too obvious. The Neural DSP IRs are so overprocessed that they always sound like there is blanket over the speaker. Maybe it's their way of making them "mix-ready". The best free (and open source) amp modeller is the Neural Amp Modeler (NAM). It has a huge community and countless amp models for basically every amp in existence.
