Can you upgrade a desktop laser cutter? Sculpfun S10 to 22W upgrade??

There currently are no upgrades for the Sculpfun S10 laser cutter on the market. However my 10W laser module was starting to show some signs of weakness and I decided to upgrade to the 22W module from Sculpfun. However, it is designed for the S9 and not the S10 I have. This video basically shows how I managed to modify and upgrade my Sculpfun S10 laser with an S9 upgrade kit.

Thank you for all the amazing content. I am in the process of doing the 22w upgrade to my S10, and I was wondering what filament you used for the adapter plate. I was going to go with ABS but thought perhaps PETG. How has the adapter plate been holding up long term? Thanks in advance, and keep posting great videos!

When you double your speed and add an extra pass, you will get cleaner cuts/edges.

Good Video, thanks . Iv an s10 , what way did you wire in your old air assist to work with lightburn ? Iv a large compressor so would just be looking to trigger a solenoid valve to open and close .

You could have prevented the broken connector by fixing the wire better. It shouldn’t move at all during lasering.

i have an extention 900x900 for s10, and the s10 module .. if i replace it with 22w module i have to change only the attachment plate or there is something else to change ?? thank u ;)
