I just ordered sculpfun's largest extension frame kit, and am thinking of putting the falcon2 40w laser on that, and building a proper cabinet with a 3in1 sheet metal machine that's been looking forward to being productive since it's been cleaned 20 times waiting for such uses. I have a super low power laser still new in the box to maybe test out the sculpfun framing, then will order the falcon2, after a few other expenses are covered of other projects that want me to throw the wallet into the fire.. Cheers, thanx for this review, it's way more informative than a unboxing of one, especially because you had experience with 4 of them and possibly 50 others haha. Rock on.

@@JTMakesIt I ended up grabbing the Sculpfun s30 ultra and the Sculpfun 33watt laser, and their newest 4in1 rotary axis, and the new USB pendant feature that can link to android Sculpfun app, to keep shop sawdust away from my computer that way, and also the Sculpfun cam500 feature to get exact object nesting. Oh my wallet is on fire!!🔥 Just now ordered a remote control tank like lawnmower, lol. I will be sure to laser engrave on the mower some fancy design. I want to also link that mower to wifi also, then send image files to it to automatically adjust the cutting height to try to draw designs and images on the lawn!! Cheers captain.

I need to purchase Sculpfun 30pro max for production of mdf cutting and then assembling gift items, will it be enough for me to produce multiple items per day using 1 mm and upto 6mm of mdf for cutting/engraving. mean is it a professional production unit??

It will be OK, if the boxes are not too big. You can roughly estimate the cutting time by looking at my plywood cutting test results, look at the speed and number of passes and calculate the time for cutting the given distance/perimeter of your parts. And multiply it by 2 for good measure(mdf cuts a bit more slowly).

It really depends on what you need Sculpfun is great for cutting and handling larger stuff, atomstack is more high tech with offline controller, Longer is quite precise and acmer has good mechanical linear guides for precision. The review should tell you everything and it is up to you to decide which one fits your needs the most

You can't replace just the module on the S9. It is not compatible with the Ultra. Bes price/performance machines are the 30W or the 20W ones, depending on your budget.

Hi, Because the upgrade laser head is very heavy, it is recommended that this upgrade module be used for cutting, but not for engraving. Otherwise the speed and accuracy of engraving will be greatly reduced.
