Why might you consider adding lime to your barn stalls? Smell prevention and pest deterrent are the two main reasons.
The two most common varieties of lime are hydrated lime and garden lime. Hydrated lime is potent; highly effective but caustic, when mixed with water (like urine) it can cause burns. Garden lime is safe but not especially effective.
That’s where First Saturday Lime comes in. First Saturday Lime claims to be the best of both types so it’s effective like hydrated lime but safe like garden lime. We first learned about this product from the TV show Shark Tank and we purchased it with our own money. We’re excited to put it to work on our farm and are hopeful to see good results.

Thank you , I need some of that lime for my chickens 🐔 when we have animals we are so busy . I have 16 chickens to care for , my grandmother had some nice goat's , her last one was called Heidi, I might get one someday n name her hidie . God bless 🙌 🙏
