It's where you walk on somewhat on your toes and adjust the level of your heel, and it makes it so your upper body doesn't move, so you lift your foot and it is flat but an inch or 2 above the ground than touching toe down first and keeping heel in the same place This is just how I do it and an easy way of learning

A version of walking taught to me in a form of martial arts also kept the upper body from moving up and down. It’s main purpose was to maintain balance while moving and maintaining a fighting posture.

To me it’s just a fast walking method I use almost daily that I didn’t know really existed, it lowers the shock on my upper body, making it so that I don’t get out of breath easily when I walk quickly at long distances, I still get out of breath in the end but less. The downside is that it uses the lower leg muscles more so sometimes it get sore over time. Ive never seen anyone else walk like that, but it reserved strength so I keep walking like that, I guess that’s why I keep feeling my friends are walking so slow 😅

There are common dances in Russia that make women look like they're floating and it's truly beautiful. Most of the time the technique is to walk on your tip toes, but I'm not sure if that's what is being done by Seulgi. Although I'm sure those dancers would love her because this is actually a talent.

Yes 😊 You mean like the dances from Vainakh culture right? I learned it as a child from my mom, she use to be a folk dancer for her university’s team. And I can confirm it’s quite tricky and you need to have balance for sure. But like all skills, it will be easy with enough practice. I’ve already lost that skill though 😂

I danced traditional chinese dance for a few years and we learnt this as well! It's actually used often in performances to show elegance as if we're smoothly gliding through the space. It's painful for our calf muscles and the muscles under our feet after a long session!

I can do that, because that's what we do in marching band at my school. You take a step by having your heel hit the ground first and the roll the rest of your foot throughout the step and that prevents you from kinda bouncing when you walk.
