Hold on a minute… the way he was constantly jumping on tower gives me an idea. It probably wouldn’t work with all the quick super jump he’s running, but in theory, could you throw down a beacon on tower and jump to it to dodge when somebody throws a special on the tower? I mean, he’s dodged Reefslider like that before, why not Triple Inkstrike?

The downside that comes with that is both the high ink cost of beacons and not having a bomb. Also none of the beacon weapons currently are quite suited to stationary gameplay like pro barely is.

@@harmless9336 I wasn’t talking about just this challenge - I meant in general play. Wiper deco manages to make do without a bomb, so that might be something to try. Probably really situational, but I’m still gonna fantasize about pulling it off in an overtime comeback push.

There's an old Splatoon 2 video about using superjump Splashdowns, and in there there's an interesting tech that you missed- remembering which teammates correspond to which d-pad buttons and superjumping to them instantly.
