I get high % GPU Usage on POE and have had performance issues for years, I'm running now on Legion 5 Pro gaming lapto with Kingston FURY Impact 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3200MHz DDR4 Memory, RTX 3070 Laptop GPU, Ryzen 7 5800H. The main reason for Laptop gaming is just ease of use due to busy life. Will the fact I'm playing on a laptop likely have issues with PoE 2 same as it caps out on GPU % Usage on POE? I know there's so many things wrong with the POE engine in terms of performance due to the game being old and the engine itself, performance has been on and off for years with POE, it changes every single league. If anyone can maybe help, or give tips regarding the laptop I'm using, would much appreciate it. Thanks.

POE 1 is kinda badly optimised. Most likely diablo 4 runs better than Poe 1. Poe 2 appears to be well optimized. On laptops your greatest challenge would be cooling, when it heats up it throttles itself.

1080 Ti is equal to a 2070 Super in GPU power, better in memory (11gb vs 8gb), so you're fine.

I retired my 960 gaming set up specifically because I couldn't play poe 1 anymore on lowest settings lol

PoE1 lategame will make your pc lag even with top parts in it. I do imagine they did optimize PoE2 a lot more to have endgame a VIABLE thing. But if not, then it will lag harder than PoE1.
