I have nothing against them having their own fans, but I am totally turned off when their fans hurt the other members with their awful comments.

I do feel like a lot of people, including ARMYs, have missed how much star power Jimin has because he is soft-spoken and self-effacing. Even though his solo songs before his official debut were massive, everyone seemed to dismiss him as a serious artist? I'm really interested in whether all members will have a lot of creative input into their next OT7 album, if some prefer to leave that for their solo works, or whether vocal line starts have more input. It's going to be so exciting!

Suga i believe predicted Jimin was unique and said jimin is his favorite voice. So im glad he inspired jimin to stay and keep training to be a part of BTS. Jimin is awesome. Im not into pop per se. But Jimin is awesome

It is very hard as an independent, even as solo artist you still have a Team behind you, cherography, make-up, costumes, agents, PR, security etc, by being with a Company such as BigHit they do all the leg work of checking credentials, holding insurance, and paying staff, that otherwise would have to be done by the artist. What is great about HYBE for BTS, is they are expanding into areas of interest for the members, that is AI, Gaming & I believe film will be next. There is are clear career alternatives in HYBE for any idol should they wish to move from music. Both RM & Jungkook have expressed interest in being CEO's whether that is HYBE itself or a Subsidiary, or in the other branches under the HYBE umberella, only the future will show, but HYBE certainly are diversifying to give idols who are with them alternative career options in the future.

Bts can grow more. Their individual solo careers can grow more. And they can also grow into other business.

I don't understand how people can sign K-Pop contracts knowing less about the K-Pop business, training etc than I do. And I have to say it again and again: if you are not ready for this, then go sign with western producers instead. Yes, K-Pop should treat their idols better. But people fighting against the rules out of entitlement and greed will only make it worse.

It is ok for bts members to have solo fans because of the solo careers.
@pamelakrause93113 күн бұрын
Not if the solo fans disrespect the group & their Company, and the members choices. So many solos calling for their favourite to leave is actually quite disrespectful of the person they are a fan off, the members have stated they enjoy when they come together as a group, and the support they receive from each other, solo fans need to respect that.
@nicoleloss79873 күн бұрын
@pamelakrause9311 yes. No disrespecting others

I understand solo fans who have seen one member’s MVs and only like that member’s music. Let’s call them quiet solo stans. But I find the loud, aggressive solo stans to be very disrespectful. I especially get upset when they take over the comment sections of new reactors to BTS and claim all the accolades for their favorite (JK is the King of K-Pop; V is the best dancer in BTS and all of K-Pop, etc.). These new reactors then take these comments for fact. There is never a IMO; it’s a conscious decision to sway the reactors. If anyone objects to those claims, even politely, the solo stans tear into them en masse. It’s very creepy and sad. Each member has certain skills and talent and to falsely claim that talent for your favorite is wrong and a lie. And the ensuing toxic debate this causes is a pitiful reflection of the mental state of these solo stans.

Merry Christmas! Thank you for the wonderful content over this year. I really enjoy listening to you. I'm in Florida, and not really celebrating as I do not usually, I'm used to working the holidays. I'm retired now, so I watch A LOT of content. Jin and JHope together are funny and endearing at the same time. I do hope you thoroughly enjoy your trip and stay healthy and safe. Most of all have a lovely time, a trip to remember.😊

I don't have a problem with solo fans as a concept. I just have a problem with them existing in ARMY spaces. Because they never fail to belittle the other members or ARMY fanbases
@tracydowd40133 күн бұрын
V actually said - "love all seven of us" BTS is seven. And they don't have solo fanbase names, ARMY's are their fans. So I'm going by what V says. They all seven prioritize the Group, so they don't want solo fans. That's how I take that. My view on it is that they can be solo fans, but if they say anything against other members, ARMY's, or their label, blaming them for mistreatment, or hating, that's unacceptable, and I don't consider those fans ARMY's. They are ANTI's.
@cloudsn3 күн бұрын
Yeah, for some reason solo stans are overwhelmingly toxic. They seem to think the other members are against their fav. Also, if they go to an event with BTS as a group, they only cheer for their favorite. When I saw the videos of RM or JHope being ignored, it made me hate solo stans and I've never seen any reason to change my opinion.

When people say they don’t like rap except BTS, that’s not a compliment you know ….
@PschokidКүн бұрын
I've heard several people say that they didn't like rap before BTS and that BTS taught them they had listen to the "wrong" rap. And I agree with that. After BTS I've been giving rap a new chance and I discovered I like non kpop rappers and non mainstream rappers

Each member of BTS is a star in their own right… I JUST READ JIMIN has gone double platinum with over 2 million units of Who sold in the USA. Congrats! And JK with over 20 millions viewers on his WEVERSE LIVE, WOW! There are too many successes by each member that have been reached and then you combined them back into BTS, they will always be a part of world music history beyond our lifetime. If we can just erase the hate they receive individually and as a group, but that is the social media world we live in. I’m with you though, I’ll just do 2 or 3 positive things to put out good energy… THEY give ARMY and ALL THEIR FANS love and they should get nothing but 🫶🏼 in return💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I totally disagree with your lineup of what the members have accomplished the only one that I agree with is RM.
@sharonlahaye58033 күн бұрын
RM is my bias and I too believe that RPWP is an accomplishment that has established him as a true musical artist in another genre. But I’m curious why you don’t think the others have done so. I’m interested, not baiting you.
