Very curious to see how long Mexico and Canada can last. What isn’t brought up is that the little goods we do send to these “good neighbors” is that nearly everything gets tariffed EXTREMELY high in the first place. Americans are done being exploited, and we went through Biden and a rough +20 years of horrible leadership. At this point, pain has become numb, developing adrenaline, and we’re in fighting mode. The difference between us, and Canada and Mexico, is that whether anyone likes it or not, the world’s stability relies on us. Not on Mexico, not on Canada, on us Americans, so for us it’s more than just about surviving, but to restore the west. In the meantime, it’s pure pride on Canada and Mexico’s part, getting caught for not being that good trade partner they so claim to be. But hey, if the US does fall, it means we’re taking the rest of the world down with us.
@andrewstokman320441 минут бұрын
@@kate2create738 You want to be an island? Be careful what you wish for. Regardless who or where you are you need to get along with your neighbors. The population of the USA is about 10 times that of Canada. Of course the USA will consume more than Canada. If you can't see that you need to brush up on basic math. So as a result of the hugely different size of the populations there will be more product going from Canada to the USA than the other way. Or do you expect that Canadians to consume 10 times as much per capita than Americans do? Canada sells high quality oil to the USA at a discount to the world price. The USA turns around and refines that oil to make money by adding value. So is Canada taking advantage of the USA by selling oil at a discount? I would encourage you to do some of your own independent research and look at the whole picture. The balance of investment money flowing from canada into the USA is in the favour of the USA. I think if you look at things from a whole picture perspective you will see that Canada is not subsidized by the USA. The USA is not being taken advantage of by the USA. For the benefit of ALL it would be best if cooler heads prevail.
