Trump's reasons for these tariffs are 100% reasonable and tariffs were avoidable if we had a decent Prime Minister who knew what being a good ally and what good communication and diplomacy were. The reason you’re mad is because there isn’t enough accessibility nor incentive to switch from gas to electric. Blame the government, I guess. (It is technically their fault.) However, the reduction of carbon emission has (hopefully) been part of governmental plans for the past few decades (see United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from 1992). While Trudeau isn’t exactly a great leader, he gives out enough government funds to get re-elected (poor decision by state and people imo). However, nothing will ever beat the burning dumpster fire that the current president of America is. I’m literally ready to fight you on it 💀
