This has been a Wild RV Adventure all summer with a lot of boondocking but there are limits. Yukon closes for winter and winter starts early up north! We've got to go for several reasons both weather related and legal issues which may arise by October 1st. We're not Snowbirds but we are going to "migrate" back to Alabama.
It's September 20th and we have 10 days to make it across the border and stay legal on the roads in Canada. We don't have M/S tires on the RV so we have to be back in the USA before the October 1 deadline. Everything is closing on us up in Canada and the Yukon so we need to head south.
Getting water for our trip south is proving to be a challenge as the campgrounds in Whitehorse, Yukon are shutting off their water spigots for winter. After calling around we find a place which meets all our needs.
Driving down the Cassiar we enter several wildlife corridors and rainy weather. We see snow on the mountains so we can't "dilly dally".
We want to drive across Saskatchewan since we have never been through that province before and it's "on the way home". But what are moose doing in the southern part of Canada?
Our RV is a Thor Magnitude so we hope it survives but the views are magnificent, awesome and stunning so the trip is a once in a lifetime event.

RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to KZbin channels Suite Travels and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks (Happilyeverhanks) #thankshanks and believe it or not, I actually learned something from MRBeast Mr Beast video's as well.
Our journey is the destination. We want to share in our experiences in our discovery of What's Next.
I get my music from:

Tracks:
Apollo by Dream Cave
Fairy Tale Snail by Gary the Canary
Hordes by Jo Wandrini
Knights Templar by Adriel Fair
This or That by Humble Hey
The Village Welcoming by Adriel Fair

We use the TSD card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.
The big blue boards (XL version) we use sometimes to get us "un-stuck" is from:
Gotreads.com
Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.
Vehicles:
2016 Volvo VNL780 "Voyager"
2016 Smart fortwo "Pathfinder"
2019 SpaceCraft Custom built semi-trailer 5th wheel "Orion"
2023 Thor Magnitude XG32 Class C "Curiosity"
2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara "Artemis"
Power system:
3250 watts of solar with Panasonic panels
30.1 KWH of Lithium batteries
2- 4K watt Magnum Inverters deliver power as if we are on shore power
2- 4K watt 240v Cotek Inverters deliver additional power for our LG Mini split HVAC and stove
Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL
We are not sponsored by Whataburger but I do enjoy them anytime I can get my hands on one. They used to be just out of Texas but they have expanded.

Thank you for taking me with you on your trip. I have really enjoyed all your videos, your commentary, your humour but most of all the fantastic photography. The drone shots of your travels give a real idea of the vastness of the scenery and the stills of the animals were just wonderful. Once again, thank you for letting me join you once a week and for showing me such a fabulous country.

As a Canadian (Vancouver Island resident), I will use this Video Title as my excuse for not getting anything done today, this week, this month and maybe until next Spring. Thanks ! It feels great to be closed (a good time for some peaceful rest, haha) But seriously, thanks for all your work on this video, showing all this scenic beauty. I appreciate this, and the entire series.

Would you please take a second to tell me where you got those glasses you're wearing at 36:55? This is the kind my mother is looking for and she asked me to drop you a note after we watched this video. Are they prescription or just sun shades? Even the color is what she wants. She'd prefer prescription capable but could wear over her regulars. Likes side wrap. And thank you both for sharing your journeys. She and I plan to do this trip. Those fall color shots were spectacular! David saying, "In these parts a fuel station could be a religious experience if you are low on fuel." is so quotable! The devastation from the fires though 😳 I'd ask, "how'd the mouse get in?", but it got cold out, it's an RV, and it's a mouse 🐭 Funnily, we were going into Saskatchewan/Alberta at the same time as you were leaving - maybe we passed each other. Definitely the land of farms! Portal is a huge crossing for hunters from the USA, not much of a town. The little ticket to use the exit gate is unique. Welcome home and thanks for sharing; it has been interesting and entertaining!

I'll bet the mouse got in the slide area since it was misaligned. We had a cat toy that caused a bump out in the slide rubber seal and that's how we think one got in ours. A Victor snap trap and peanut butter got rid of em quickly. Thank you!!!

Great video, edits, beautiful drone videos and music “as usual”. The Jade store. I was smiling when you compare it to the Wall Drug store in SD with signs over at least 100 miles distance 😂. It seems everyone has been there. Like your boondocking spots close to the water, so beautiful, really epic overnight spots. I guess Starlink is a winner in those areas. Whataburger - I guess you miss it 😂. What a great journey 16000 miles, just wow! You guys rock! Btw: with my Greek background I love you named your toad ARTEMIS - the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation - very fitting.

WoW, what a great series!! Looking forward to the next adventure. In terms of the moose, there have actually been a numer of on-going research projects aimed at determining why the moose are moving south into farm land. They have been placing collars and trackers on them. They seem to enjoy the crops (peas, flaxseed, oilseeds etc). The area is free of their natural predators - bears and wolves and there are areas where there is water and they can find shade when needed. Interestingly they have found that some of the moose they have tagged wander everywhere and others never move outside of a 10K radius. Their numbers are incrasing in Sask and decreasing in BC and some of the northern US states.

I've enjoyed watching your travels in Alaska. I was in the Army from 1972-75, stationed at Ft. Greely, and assigned to the Gerstle River Test Site, at M.P. 1393 on the Alaska Highway. I was discharged on 13Apr75, and drove home to Kentucky, on the Alaska Highway. Sadly we were young, and just out of the Army, so we didn't stop and smell the roses. We didn't see any of the things I've seen here. When you stopped at Gerstle River, and mentioned it was a favorite spot, that was good because I've been in that area before it was a place to stay. The area was flooded when you came through. Has that become a common occurance up there. I don't remember that ever happened when I was there.
@bigtruckbigtravels

Not too common. This flooding was caused by large amounts of ice and a quick spring thaw which clogged the flow. Neat area. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching

@40:22 - "We are in southern Saskatchewan ... I feel like we're in Nebraska or something." The Great Plains are amazing! The scenery looks the same from Texas to the Tundra. Interesting, coming across this video, having travelled to many of the same locations. Jade City, here in Canada, has its own television show...didn't know if you knew that? We did the Cassiar highway as well, went to Stewart, Hyder, then up to Salmon Glacier (well worth going). We took our truck & slide in camper up to Salmon Glacier, but your Jeep would be a much easier drive! Love the scenic views of the drone, thank for sharing them, along with the lovely music chosen while watching! Regarding moose, back when my kids were young, I use to 'hunt' moose, up along the Alaska highway, and in about 40 miles! Back in those days, we use to say there's a moose behind every tree, as they where so numerous, but that changed over the years, once the oil & gas companies fixed up the roads into the area...so much, where those same abundant regions, we would spend 2 weeks looking for a moose, and see none! There 'where' Bison in the same region, and on my very last trip, we won (got, in a lottery) what was called a 'Group hunt' for two Bison, either gender. Thus, as we all typically know, when you're offered something like that, you see NONE! But on one of our last days before heading home, one partner and I travelled a long distance from camp, and near the end of the day came upon two Bison, so we filled our tags, and I've never hunted since, as our kids had grown (they grew up on moose meat) and one daughter was vegetarian, so sustenance of moose wasn't needed, so I chose not to go any more. All our hunts where in groups of anywhere from 4 to 8 people, so it fed a lot of people over the years of course. We got to learn how to 'call' moose (males especially have a particular grunt) of which I used once, to where a moose turned, and started running back towards us! My brother could call elk (there were many elk in the area as well) and got some nice one's over the years. As for eating, they love leaves, and will eat just the wigs on a tree if that's all that's available. In ponds, they will stand and eat the vegetation of the bottom of the ponds/lakes. Wolves are their main predator, and bears can be as well, especially when the little one's are born unfortunately. So, moose are vegetarians for the most part, and yes I've seen many many dead on the side of highways, along with deer, which are plentiful even more than moose. What a wonderful trip you had, and I'll be looking forward to the many other video's of yours I need to catch up on, and future as well.

Really enjoyed following along on your trip. Another advantage of the Cassiar heading south is the lower elevation. On several previous trips, there was lots of snow on the Alaska Hwy south of Watson Lake. The Cassiar was clear.
