Niagara was beautiful as expected but have you ever been to a campground that has fire extinguishers at the campsites????

We did the falls when our kids were in middle school. We did the boat. It was so crowded but still worth it. This was before we had an RV. Easy border crossing it have heard it could be hard with an RV so glad you had no issues.
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
That’s awesome you took your kids there! I feel ridiculous that we raised our kids only 5 1/2hrs from there and never took them. The border is not bad but you definitely need to research the rules ahead of time.
@RVAmericaАй бұрын
The border was actually closed.The last time we went to niagara falls. We think the falls are the most beautiful from the canadian side. Lynn and Danny
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
Agree. The Canadian side is better. We had a great time!

Loved seeing you guys take in Falls on the boat. It is so beautiful! The restaurant looked amazing with that view and we always love a good buffet! ❤~Lareka

The boat was so much fun. The girls were giggling all the way out and back. The buffet was really good too. Thanks for coming along with us.

the border crossing looked nice and easy! The falls tour, especially the behind the falls looked so cool! We can't wait to get to Niagara someday!

You will love it! The falls are incredible! This week’s video is about Niagara on the lake- 30 mins from the falls- you don’t want to miss that. It was a pleasant surprise for us! Safe travels to you both! - Mike and Shelley

Glad you enjoyed it, the behind the falls tour is pretty special! They don’t have that on the US side. When you go be sure to stay to see it lit up at night too! It didn’t show up that well in the video so we didn’t show much of it at night but it was cool. Thanks for your support as always!

We are glad you enjoyed it! It’s a special place. Did you go to Niagara on the Lake too? That’s what we cover next week. I had no idea it was a thing until we were there and I was googling things to do in the area!
@ThoseWhoGlampTogetherАй бұрын
@ the last time we were there I don’t think google existed LOL. Don’t know about that!
@ourrvsunsetsАй бұрын
Nope, never seen a fire extinguisher set up like that in a US KOA, great idea though! LOL!!! Love that you and I just used the same music track. Great minds think alike!! The journey behind the falls looked cool. We've done the boat before but never that tour.
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
It’s a Mike thing I guess. Great minds that is. Lol. The trip behind the falls was really cool but a little noisy back there.

Behind the falls tour looked pretty cool. I didn't even know that was a thing to do there. Very cool!
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
We had no idea either but it was one of the highlights of the trip! I think they only offer it on the Canadian side.

Love how you guys get up and go and really explore quite a bit in your journeys! Great ideas for RV ing in Niagara Falls.
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
We do our best to keep moving while we are out. We consider it “training” for when we go full time. If you haven’t been to the falls you should put it on your list. Tons of fun stuff to get into.
@garyhahn3450Ай бұрын
It looked like you had such a fun adventure. We always enjoyed the Canadian side.
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
It really is a great experience. We loved it! Can’t wait to get back up that way and do some more Canada camping!
@keepaeyeonit2709Ай бұрын
Ya I now exactly where you turned around at!! The same place we did🤣, we enjoyed Niagara falls although we walked around in the KOA we stayed at the Jellystone . Glad your roof repair is working.

That GPS has been driving me crazy lately. The roof is holding up so far. Let’s hope it’s all good through the winter.

We will definitely go back. Would like to see some of their provincial parks!

We would have liked to know more about the section of road you were on that RV Life didn't direct you correctly? We were surprised they asked if you had over $2000.00 dollars with you? WHAT? Sometimes the questions are so weird. You answer was perfect, "I wish!" LOL. Great trip to Niagara Falls. That is where Jim & I went for our honeymoon. It is a great place! - Jim & Michelle
@dporter5936Ай бұрын
I agree on the $2k comment. However, we've found that joking with the border agents is rarely a good idea. Some of the questions definitely invite such.
@airstreamerАй бұрын
@@dporter5936 We have first hand knowledge about trying to joke with a border agent. Depends on the person, some of them have NO sense of humor! 🙃
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
That is unfortunate. What happened I. Your experience? She definitely didn’t joke back.
@dporter5936Ай бұрын
@@campinwiththeconfers No bad experiences. Just same observation of border agents not joking back. The one time we had to open the canopy on the truck, and then the RV trailer it was towing, was a small border crossing from BC (I think) into eastern Washington. We did not blame the agent at all. All 5 vehicles in front of us were pulled aside and parked in the inspection area, one driver in the car immediately in front of us, in handcuffs. Agents understandably jumpy. Agent looked. Asked questions. Final question was "why this crossing?" Answer "shortest route to not Canadian fuel costs." Truth, plus a we won't be going through Seattle heading home crossing.
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
@ yeah I guess that would be understandable.

Should’ve done some day drinking with Tequila using those limes. Not the driver.! LOL!
@campinwiththeconfersАй бұрын
That’s exactly what I was thinking!! But then I would have to go buy tequila to get rid of limes. It’s a vicious circle 🤣🍋🟩🍹
