+Daniel Ireland As an immigrant and a person from a visible minority who just moved to Montréal, I can say without a doubt that Canada is the least racist country I've been to. I don't think you realize how bad it is elsewhere.. You have tons of legislations to prevent discrimination, there isn't that much communitarism and people are only interested in your origins because they wanna know you. Plus, there so many people who make being Canadian and staying attached to their origins work - which is not the case in most european countries, you're not considered French if you think you're something else at the same time
