I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place-jobs, healthcare, housing-to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. Canada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system-it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada. We see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. The good thing about that country is almost no pollution and less population and the people are also friendly. However, the costs of housing, medical and other expenses have risen considerably and it’s very difficult to save money and enjoy life freely. The big cities like Toronto and Vancouver are out of reach for the students in terms of rent. Also my own roommate was a victim of crime as 2 college students robbed him and fortunately he only suffered minor injuries. There is also shortage of jobs due to recession. Specially in canada. 15 years ago noone writes SOP but in 2009 Canada immigration ask for justification of stay request with fews students and after that all stated writing SOP. Till date SOP is not mandatory document for filing. Actually every country have their immigration goals. Canada give visa easily because their immigration goal is to get a educated cheap labour without investing a money which afterall they getting it. Talking about students who are being asked to go back, which country allows a student to stay back forever after their studies are completed? It is not even competent to what India offers in terms of medical attention to an ailing patient. However, the claim in this video that a pregnant woman has to wait for 6 months to meet her gynaecologist, is wrong. For such critical conditions, they make sure that they tend to the patient in time. And for your cousin's friend who came back to his country, did they return because of the health system of Canada? I guess no, they must have returned due bigger personal issues. I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! And the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country. I always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!! If anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. And if you have already booked your flight, all the best….its going to be extremely tough.

Waiting times for HC sucks thats true. 2. Housing crisis true. same situation everywhere not just in Canada. 3. Medical expenses not covered??? Provincial HC covers the most. Rest is covered by insurance by employers. opt for it and there will be no problems for the expenses then. 4. Never heard or seen a immigrant getting deported unless individual has done some thing wrong. 5. Taxes are high and truly not happy about it for the moment but at the same time government gives you back so much in return. Good quality of life, security, infrastructure and more. 6. Drugs problem is a decision made by that specific individual for their own life. So much has been misinformed in this video only to promote their own agenda. Appointment after 2 months so, my parents were really worried and they immediately called me off to India and i ensure you that just after coming back in just one day my biopsy was done and results came in just 3 days . I hope the best future for our India and Indians . Just stay strong till than everybody. Jai hind, Jai Shree Ram 🙏

I noticed that many from my college batch of IT Engineering 2021 passout has moved to Canada for pursuing higher studies in IT like masters or PG after completing they are still struggling to find relevant jobs, feeling trapped and unable to return home due to loans and stigma. Despite investing family savings, they're ending up in unrelated fields, stressing about their future. This trend is concerning, as our talented youth is blindly moving to foreign countries without research, hoping for a successful career. Videos like this aim to raise awareness about the harsh realities and importance of informed decisions. Additionally, I want to highlight the differences in medical treatment in Canada and Australia compared to India. In my experience, medical treatment in India is efficient, with reports available in a single day. In contrast, in Canada and Australia, the process is slow, with long wait times for doctor appointments and report results. This is a crucial aspect to consider when making decisions about studying or moving abroad.

Sir, the large population in India makes you feel worthless even if you have any skills. When you go to a client, they don't offer even half the amount that your work is worth. If you refuse, they say, 'No problem, we will find someone else.' Shockingly, they do find someone who will work for less money. There will always be someone willing to work for less. Additionally, the government doesn't really care about poor people; they see them as garbage. Privileged children also make fun of the poor to look cool - If things are expensive in Canada, it means they value someone's skills. Anyone with good skills will not feel worthless.
@vidyanagarajan91354 ай бұрын
Thats because they are paying high not due to skills alone but due to low competition and low population. In India is high population and high competition the employer will always choose the person who comes for low salary. What is that go to do with poor people.

you must have come to Canada a long time ago, finished major capital purchases like house (25 year mortgage), or be at the executive level for this to be true in today's day and age. Otherwise your job's disposable income provision is unlikely for you to ever be able to afford a house in a non-remote place in Canada where jobs are available too. One's career prospects are better in India than Canada for such people if one looks at a go forward 10 year horizon from today, vs if one compares to landing 10 years ago and eating well at the buffet before it ran out for the new guests
@ginaross2954 ай бұрын
@@madhukarmurthi9064 I came to Canada 2 years ago. You don’t need to be employed at executive level to earn a decent income. You need the right skill set which is sought after globally
@madhukarmurthi90644 ай бұрын
@@ginaross295 Sure, but a rare skill set pays as much as executive level, which begins at $120,000 per year in Canada, of which $6500 is monthly take home. Rent of a decent place costs $2500 - $3000 - this is not a high end place. Car and insurance costs $1000 per month. Gas if you use your car daily costs $400 a month. Repairs.maintenance of car $200/month. Groceries $1000 per month to eat with reasonable health. Clothes, taxi, restaurants, travel and tourism, movie tickets, etc..are very expensive. House help is very expensive. There is simply no way the middle class in Canada today can save as much in real terms or Purchasing Power PArity terms than the same person holding the same job in India. I have no issue with you doing well - I want all our Bharatiyas to succeed globally, and they will because even in tough environments like Canada today, over the long run, our Bharatiya values allow us to outperform others. But please don't say life is normal here in Canada in terms of decent job = decent life. I do very well here too, family of 4, annual cost of living without any private education for kids is $120,000/year in Toronto. We can live a much better life in India for $30,000/year. Lucky we own our own businesses...but still feels lousy spending so much for so little. We are moving back to India for the sake of our kids, who are only half Indian. Those who have global mobility and are at a high level of career growth or success will find India a better environment for growth than Canada. Of course, it's easier to succeed in Canada due to less competition, but as far as saving for a good life here, unless you are planning on moving to Mexico, Thailand or back to India...the numbers don't make sense here anymore. IT's basically a natural resource economy of mediocre performers that is now decreasing in wealth on a per capita basis year after year and will continue to do so into the future.
@madhukarmurthi90644 ай бұрын
@@ginaross295 So you have a sought after skill set that pays executive level. In Canada, that begins at $100,000/year for Director level and higher. Your take home from that is about $5416 per month as a single person. In Toronto, your rent will cost $2500 - $3000 for a moderate 1 bedroom condo, your groceries will cost over $1000/month, and your car plus insurance will cost $1000/month with petrol costs. Restaurants, clothes, and cinemas are very expensive, as is house help, and domestic travel and tourism. Canada - A better leadership needed. Trudeau failed miserably. Canada needs to start making it's own stuff now i.e. focus on manufacturing industries and increase in exports, can't rely on US for everything. Pvt players to be introduced in healthcare to lessen the burden of public healthcare. Housing needs better regulations now. And immigration should be merit based (current point system is not bad) but don't give it to everybody like they did during Covid time. Everybody was granted PR despite very low CRS score. Loans are easy in these NATO countries due to the US model of capitalism, inform me how many of them are able to repay the loan with interest?

I don’t know why is Canada targeted when India is not good either … like where are we supposed to go?

Presently it’s not advisable to go to Europe.. Canada is doomed, go ton US only if you have lots of money to spend, go to Australia if you’re ready to survive loneliness.. if you’re a general category in india, only hard work can save you and instead of looking for a job, it’s always better to start your own business .. go abroad only if you’re IT professional, because there’s some sort of job guarantee .. i was planning to go to Canada in 2011, now i feel myself lucky that I canceled my plan .. at least I don’t have loans ,i have my own house and living with my parents.. even though I’m not earning huge money, but I’m safe

As a Canadian living in Canada for 20 years. This is 100% truth when it comes to Canada's medical care system. Furthermore, the issues with drugs and housing shortage to 100% true. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.
@archanabhardwaj6348 I fully agree. It was not like this under Stephen Harper.

Everything about the video is so true and apt. I have been in Canada since 2014, and I have seen drastic changes in the country. But I see you guys talk about protest in the first part of the video, but you did not really tell why they are protesting. A lot of students are protesting because they either want free education or they want the universities to make the exams easier for them. Students are being deported because they got to Canada through a fake letter of acceptance. There is no bizarre reason for their deportation. Students are not getting PR because the programs get full. It's not all students. I think you kind of put all students in one clan. I have been watching your videos for quite some time, but it seemed like you did not have enough research on it. The drug problem being legal makes no difference to that province. It actually curbs the gang wars and stuff. I completely agree with you on the health and housing crisis. But it seemed your research was not at par with what I have seen on your channel before.

Recently I watched a vlog of KZbin channel named chatty and scatty, they also living in canada and they are expecting a baby in few months. They have shared that they have the waiting time about 3 months for the test of pregnancy. So wait time is genuinely a problem in canada

Right now!!! I am in Canada and I am dealing with the same situation what has been told by them in this video. This is a bitter truth about this country that It has lot of money…… and something else but reality is opposite and beyond our expectations. No job is here or even a new comer international student can’t afford the expenses and single meal for the day. At Last, Don’t come to Canada❌ you will always regret for your decision like I am!

Same thing here in Germany. Getting an appointment for any doctor is a headache. I had a small rash, and i wanted to go to a dermatologist but didn't get an appointment after 3 months, and it spread so much that i was admitted to the hospital as an emergency patient. All this could have been avoided. Never ever this problem has or will occur in India.

Abhi Germany k saath geo political relations are good so video wont come now. With Canada the current INDIAN government is having problems, so this video. The problems he is talking about Canada was there for past 5 to 6 years, now things have gone much worse, if he actually wanted to spread the awareness he would have done this video long time back. Abhi thoda saal ruko, Germany k sath political relations bigadne do, fir uske baad Germany wala video ayega, filhal kataar me khade raho

I am super happy that you guys made video on this , stating facts and figures which are completely true, I am student living in Canada, I came from India last year to have change from my routine , and I can say I have faced all most all the issues raised in the video, I do feel that Canada isn’t the problem in my life but it does adds up in my struggle and I would not recommend anyone to come in Canada without knowing the drawbacks, at the same time I don’t feel like it’s the worst country to stay in but , but living here is not sustainable for longer period of time.
