India needs a flat income tax and sales tax (10% like Singapore). Eliminate all other taxes such as property taxes, VAT, GST, capital gains taxes etc. Tax the farmers at 10% (flat income tax). Also on the revenue side, start with R&D on oil and gas (LNG) on and offshore drilling and exploration including building hydroelectric dams for electricity and build thorium (instead of uranium and plutonium) run nuclear reactors which are exceptionally efficient and less expensive as India has TONS of thorium in beach sand with that HUGE coast line. And decentralize the country to the local level. Let states keep more of their money instead of sending it to the central government in Delhi.

Taxation itself is a legal scam. Look at the m2 chart of India. They print a ton of money. If they can print money, they can just print more to provide services. There's no need for tax. Simply, if they can print money, why are we paying tax? They're diluting our money by printing first and then we have to pay tax on that.
