Canada completely changed after 2015. After the pandemic, it became unbearable. There is no such thing as Canadian dream anymore unless you work MUCH harder than previous generations. You need a full time job and side hustles to make it otherwise get used to living a very simple lifestyle. Toronto and Vancouver are never going back to normal lifestyles and if you manage up buy a home and car in smaller and rural areas, your mental health will suffer because even if you have homes, there is no opportunity to grow. Fact is, this country has been mismanaged by the bureaucrats since 2015. It is officially now a declining first world country. Even Canadian born desis and others are suffering badly.

I have been staying from 1 and half years in Canada and this is exactly what I think too. Either there is too much positivity or too much negativity about Canada. The reality is completely different. It is different from person to person and ultimately depends on what you want in life and from Canada. Current situation is not too rosy, but at the same time its not as difficult as some people making so many KZbin videos are making it to be. Its a tricky situation to be in, you cannot complain and you cannot even leave. But, if you stay and somehow survive, you can ultimately thrive.

The situation is pretty bad. Last job report for Canada showed loss of job creation and unemployment rising to 6.2% (reported, the number is likely to be higher). Canada is not creating jobs, not investing in product technology and therefore cannot hire more people. This isn’t a short term problem, and requires a multi year solution. If you’re entering in a diploma course/ low value masters, you’re rolling the dice with your future, with the odds not in your favour. Mix of immigration policy changes and the economy for the next 2-3 years means a lot of people are going to be heading home with sizeable debts. If you manage to get a part time and weather it out, you’re wasting your “productive years” which makes your value in the job market even lower than it was before. Overall, if you value your future, economic and mental well-being, and even possible PR pathway, Canada is an extremely risky gamble.

Hey Gursahib , I am coming to BC in the next one month to do a MBA program from Trinity western university. I got my visa and selected the course details also. I have 4 years of experience in Operations Management in India. Further plan is to continue to grow in Project Management or finance roles in the future. Wanted to understand what Kind of challenges would i face during PR or getting a job in the above roles ?

Your MBA wont help you change the field. Your chance of success will depend if u wish to continue doing the same u did before. Canadian will not value your MBA but experience. The month you land, start networking with people. Forget about GPA, no one cares. Networking would be your key to success. My friends studied MBA finance and looking for job since 4 months. Haven't got any interview yet. If your earning 1 lac in India or can earn a lac in next two hears, dont come. Save ur tuition fee for your retirement savings m, invest it. Sharing my personal experience.

Look for more Canadian class experience as compared to general draw for people who have Canadian work experience. cRS score is still above 520. All other points are correct. There has been also restrictions in no of people who can apply for provincial nominee per month as well. They are just making money from students and failing and grading low to students.I met a student who is in 5th term and he spent 30 lakhs for the course and he didn't get the completion certificate from ucw for mba as his percentage was 68, college is asking to do 72 percent other wise you have to go back to your home country. i got 70 percernt and they put me on suspention, i withdrew my admission now after 2nd term and going back to my home country. This is real worst case scenario.I have lost the fee which i paid for 2 terms but dont want to waste rest and be empty handed end of the course. After putting so much money and time you will be screwed up. Please be careful if you have family responsibilities and financial boundaries take decision wisely.

Immigrants are not the cause. They brought in money to this country. If the same was replicated in India, ie NRI's bringing dollars to Indian bank accounts, it would have increased foreign currency deposits. The same did not happen in Canada nor did Canada take full advantage of it. Instead of sustaining the immigrants and becoming a part of the economy, Canada worked on eating the reserves immigrants had. Considering the fact, that a good number of Canadians are either homeless, drug addict, or cannot start their day without Marijuana, Canada's present and future have basically destroyed the efforts everyone put in to build this country in the past.

Canada is going towards poverty it’s a labour country and no jobs all agencies to help rich businesses to easily fire people and no proper health insurance and living in 1 room with 3 people and sleeping empty stomach. First they exploit students and they take loan and colleges and food companies gets rich it’s a labour country don’t take loans as it is always recession and inflation. India will soon be no. 3 as they have young population and if they do hard work in Indian farms they will make 3 times more. Real fact is Canada is looting immigrants by taking 40 lakhs and people selling lands, homes and can never recover and go back homeless and in poverty.
