I’m (PR) travelling with my partner (work permit) to Dubai via Paris (10 hour layover). Please tell me what kind of visa do both of us require? While filling the application form for short stay visa, I need to fill out accommodation details. I will be just travel for 6-7 hours outside airport and get back in for my connecting flight. There are 2 non stop flights from Delhi to Toronto. I don't know why you not take those flights or travel via doha /abu Dhabi in Qatar or Etihad airways

We are not sure about temporary residents. If you had a permanent residency, then you don’t need transit visa.

I am not sure about student visa. But as for PR visa, you don’t need transit visa. Call the airport authorities in Paris to be sure.
