Interesting video Steeve. I never paid too much attention to this segment of cars. For me car was just something to get from point A to B. I was surprised to see the number of Malayalees interested in this segment. I missed the last section whether you are driving to Algonquin? If it is Algonquin most summers I live in a village called Dwight 20 KM east of Huntsville and 20 KM west of west gate of Algonquin (say exact middle). Good beach here and ample boating and canoeing facilities and good summers.

I’m driving a turbo car and I’m running a cold air intake it’s just for the engine to breath with less restriction as my car is tuned and needs more air. That being said adding a CAI doesn’t add any power to it my man. It just helps engine for more unrestricted airflow. So it doesn’t add 30bhp to your car with that alone. For instance I’m running an R with garrett gtx286 big turbo and appropriate tune so I had to replace my factory intake just so that the engine can breath better. But just a CAI alone won’t add 30bhp on top of my tune but it helps to meet the air requirements for the engine being tuned.

It improves acceleration a tad more better with an ease in top speed but not 30bhp gain my man. Try watching myth busting of cold air intakes by mighty car mods for turbo cars as I believe this guy has 2.0 mustang eco boost.

@@steecamnature-steevemathew4606 the only time when a cold air intake alone gets you a bit of gain is when you relocate it to somewhere where there is cold air like underneath your car behind the front bumpers or maybe through your headlights spots like in the chargers cuz an open air filter in the engine bay is only gonna breath hot air not cold so yea if it’s in the engine bay then 0 gains from doing it. I’m running them under the hood and yes it only breaths hot air I’m not calling it a cold air I’m just having it for the induction noise and turbo flutters.
