Happened to me multiple times before where a CP worker didn't bother knock and just slapped a "sorry we missed you" while I was literally watching at the window upstairs. The CP workers almost always have an attitude. On the other hand, the Fedex and UPS drivers work waaaaaay longer shifts but still try to be nice and treat their customers right. I will not feel sorry at all if CP is bankrupt and render these people jobless. So long there's a demand, there will be supply, the competitors will swoop in just like what they are already doing, but way faster.

I used to work for Amazon which is one of the most profitable companies of all time. Amazon drivers deliver between 200 and 250 packages a day and they have absolutely no rights. Amazon does not even employ them directly and there is no contract between the company and the drivers. Amazon uses private companies to avoid employing these drivers or giving them any rights. Unfortunately, most Canadians treat Amazon drivers as package thieves, not to mention the ridiculous notes that customers leave for us to follow when delivering packages. The Canadian government, with which we split our salaries, is fully complicit in torturing these drivers by providing Amazon with foreign workers because the average life expectancy of a driver at Amazon is only three months! I don't think there is a sane person who opposes any measures that contribute to fairness and improving the living conditions of workers. But Canada Post in particular is literally collapsing with each passing day and yet its workers are demanding that they be treated like pilots and that everyone stand by them to achieve their unrealistic demands during the Christmas season. Guys, just because you have a union doesn't mean you are right, be reasonable!
@turntablesrockmyworld9315Күн бұрын
Silly post. The correct solution is to get unionized or boycott Amazon jobs. To argue that because of this,, the other is now unreasonable is faulty logic. The better approach is to get better conditions for Amazon workers and all other workers.
