No, it's not mandatory. Check your CRS score using this tool www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp. If you are falling short of few points try working on IELTS to patch up with the CRS score. If not then go with TEF. Thank you!

Hello, I see a your videos and they are very useful. Can you make a video about the people who don't have reference letters in the format IRCC needs. And more about LOE. I use to work in a different country and i do have a work experience letter from them but not in the format IRCC requires and I'm unable to get in touch with the company, and it was a private company. Can you help me and guide me regarding this query? Thank you.

Hey sure ,I can make a video on the same . Meanwhile , you can obtain a reference letter written on a plain paper by a senior collegue or manager covering all details as requested by IRCC and also attach the biz ID or company ID of the person who is signing. Get this notarized . Do prepare a LOE explaining why you have areference letter from you colleague and why you cannot provide a work reference letter.Most important make sure you provide all the supporting docs like pay stubs,offer letter,proof of tax payment, bank statement of salary deposit etc;. I was actually living in a country (kuwait) where we don't pay taxes, and unfortunately i moved from there long back and i don't have anything else beside a formal work experience letter which i received while leaving the job. What should i do in this situation? Besides that please if you make a detailed video or let me know how to make a strong LOE in this situation i will be very thankful
