this was the start of Golden era of A R Rahman music, all of India was introduced to his music via Roja, then every album of Rahman came and made waves in all over India. Bcz his music was very distinct and different from what the Bollywood was serving. Back then every one had cassettes of A R Rahman collection. After that, the folder dedicated to A R Rahman only songs came in our PCs. Because his songs were that different and a music in itself and it was huge. His hit songs got remade in Hindi and other languages. It was a time to watch Rahman music. If he had released those golden songs in this era, Grammy would have gone out of awards.
