When she says "mab2ash ana- it wouldn't be me", she doesn't mean she will be sad or something like that. It's a way in Arabic to say that you are sure that something will happen, (this will happen or I wouldn't be me) like saying mark my word that will happen. So she is not portraying someone sad but someone feeling powerful. Even after the betrayal of her lover because she is sure how much he will suffer without her.
