Glad u liked it ^^ btw we indeed say أسمر when we want to refer to ppl with dark skin , more often used than أسود which is the literal translation of Black

The lyrics are in Egyptian words which differ alittle from original arabic and full of local slangs, so translating into english is kinda different this is a literal translation and it is not reflecting the exact meaning of the words that is y u cant understand it😀

The song is part of a movie and the movie is about a person who had a crush on a girl but his personality makes him unable to grab her attention. On his birthday a genie appeared to him. He asked the genie to help him so the genie kept changing him to different characters with the hope that this character makes him able to be with his crush. But each time it was a fail and none of the characters grabbed her attention. At the end when he was himself he then was able to grab her attention and they lived happily ever after. So the song is basically saying be yourself and dig deep into yourself self you will find something unique that is not in anyone else and this thing makes your personality. The idea of movie was taken from an American movie (Bedazzled) . This Egyptian movie is one of my favorites . Actually all Ahmed Mekkey’s and Donia ‘s movies are hit and I love them so much.

In my opinion, Mekky is by far the best rapper in the middle east. That song was actually the theme song of" Teer Enta "" the movie, 2009 Co starring Donya. That was the Egyptian version of the movie Bedazzled released in the year 2000. I think Mekky's version of the movie has transformed an average, low budget Hollywood movie into a masterpiece.

The song is saying that a person should be satisfied and stop trying to look at other people and what they have. And the little that you might have, someone else looking at it as much because he doesn’t have anything. Satisfaction makes you happy.

As for the part you didn't understand... the translation is If you have been accused in a case of injustice, don't worry, God will send you a lawyer to defend you - what you find hard for you, is what others are good at... because it's their talent before it's their job Just as you have a talent that you are unique with - everyone also has a different talent ... so that each one plays his part in life. So stick to your talent and don't look at the talents of others...be yourself

when he said اسمر he means black skinned people, this is how we say it, we don't say اسود also in the part that you didn't understand in 4:52. he means that if you got in trouble and you may go to jail, some people have the talent to prove your innocence (he means lawyers). Just as he mentioned other professions before it.

Donia Samir Ghanem her father was a comedian legend for about 4 decades he started his career within a musical band consisting of three superstars in the name of "ثلاثى أضواء المسرح" their songs were very funny, if you like to check their work out for reactions. her mother دلال عبد العزيز were a superstar as well, Dalal & Samir had a funny love story before their marriage, but their death was a real tragdy. in 2021 they got infected with Corona virous and both of them intered the intensive care for a very long time, سمير غانم has died first،. Donia & her sister could't tell their mam that her beloved hausband has died cause they won't risk of their mother's healthshape getting worse, they isolated her from the media news for two months so she cannot know about the death of her hausband while she was alredy isolated in the intensive care, they were pretending that nothing has happend during her visit untill she died as well without knowing anything. it was a real hard time for the sisters, they went in greaf for alog time for losing their parents and all of Egypt was sad for them.
