Do you know why she use to be sitting before starting to sing? Sorry I’ll say it by Arabic …..

She says to him, let me dream in the lap of your heart, and I hope time would not wake me up, the whole story might be just a dream... The miraculousness of Umm Kulthum’s voice is that she used tenderness to denote a dream and the desire to enter love, then strength to emphasize an unnatural person who sang for a lover who does not exist, but she loved him with everything in it.

hi jay nice to listen to um kolthoum with u again **in 06:16 that was Ahmed El Hefnawy, is an Egyptian violinist, and he worked in the Umm Kulthum band, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Abdel Halim Hafez and Talal Maddah. **in 16:12 The repetition is always different because there is no melody that accommodates Umm Kulthum's capabilities. There is more than one performance of the same melody, and all of them Umm Kulthum can perform. **in 28:00 that duo was between two legends alhefnawy the violinist and Abdo saleh one of the best Kanoun player **The composer is Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the musician of the generations, who interacted with his song ""not me who will crying"aka" la mosh ana elly abky" **in 38:00 thats the same song but i think the owner of video merged couple of videos for the same concert ** There is a new surprise for you, Umm Kulthum used to perform three songs in one concert. Can you imagine how much effort and pleasure they had in the past? thanks jay i adimire your work very much

Hello, wonderful.. The Oud player is named Muhammad Al-Qasbaji. He is a great composer and composed several songs for her.. Umm Kulthum asked him to play with the band and because he loved her very much, he accepted her request and died several years before Umm Kulthum.. Umm Kulthum did not invite any player. A musician to sit in his place and the chair remained empty in all her concerts after him ..
@Sema-Tawy3 жыл бұрын
The reason for the different musical parts is that they (especially Om Koltoum and Abdel Halim Hafez) used to perform these concerts only once or twice a year and they spent the whole year preparing for this concert and it was expensive to attend. That’s why they also used to repeat the paragraphs several times. If you want to listen to a great song (musically can be divided to 7 or 8 songs by the legendary Baligh Hamdy), try hawel teftekerny of Abdel Halim Hafez

16:27 It's nice of your friend to translate this masterpiece, appreciated, but here it's better to translate as: you're the love of my past ... and not "lover". Although in Arabic it literally says "lover" but it meant "love", and should be translated this way as it's more poetic and stronger in English. thx 19:55 I've never tasted and relished such affection in my life as tender as yours .. 32:38 This much I desire you .. and long for you..
