I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out why Beth had a white cat on the center on her corset and how I missed it on the show. I might not have figured it out if I hadn’t then seen that the cat was chilling on the runway with everyone else. Great use of props, Matty!

I'm surprised it wasn't a double elimination, but of the two, Geo did a little bit more. I am hoping that "mean girls" club isn't really a big storyline - maybe it's just in Beth's head and will die now that she has been eliminated.

For the Americans out there - Shopper’s Drug Mart is like CVS, except you can also get light grocery there as well (eggs, milk, snacks, bread etc). They have a huge cosmetic/facial care area in their stores.

It was strange that the queens who only used the fabric wall didn’t get criticized more. It’s no big feat to just use fabric to make a dress. So far, I’m not too impressed overall. Also, Brooklyn’s face screams plastic surgery. Too much.

I did like this episode as an opener for the 2nd season...despite the lipsync. Already, I love the new upgraded version of the werkroom and the judging just on this episode alone was so much better this time around. My personal favorites that I'm rooting for are Icesis and Kimora, so I was SO HAPPY to see that Icesis won the 1st challenge, but honestly I would not have been mad if Stephanie won over her. They both did a great job, and speaking of Stephanie...and Suki too, I didn't think of much of them, but those two especially REALLY proved me wrong. Stephanie is calling it out like it is and we love to see it. Eve is also bringing the drama for sure...but I'm feeling its gonna backfire against her, as the edit is already steering in a negative way. I was REALLY sad to see Beth go, honestly though she would last longer. Honestly surprised you did not mention the "Brat Pack" trio of Kendall, Gia and Synthia, because it feels like it is going to be a storyline, as there is actual history between the three as a Vancouver group, so I'm wondering how that's going to flesh out later on.

Suki Doll was kind of... a kiss ass? It was a weird try-hardiness in front of the judges that, based on her drag, felt out of place. Very strange, hope she's more natural in later episodes.

No 'puss, puss' just 'meh, meh'.. the show is trying too hard to be Canadian and it shows. The best looks were the 'ticket' girls. Poor Beth, she was a classic 'deer in the headlights' I have a problem with queens losing their wigs when they perform and have the boy hair underneath. But what is even worse is when they take off their garments to show the boy body.. that for me is a DQ ( in this case a disqualification) Matty, your hair is EVEYTHING!!!

I agree! Would a queen your paying to see have clothing and hair fails? Hell no, unless it went with the song and moment. This did not. The amount of unfunny jokes from the panel had me cringing,
