Great use of the drone, forgot it was drone footage for a while, until I saw a shadow. Very interesting as always.

Thank you - I had to ditch a little footage showing the shadow of a GO4 on a monopod... these little errors teach us every time. My next production is just for you.....

Yes, indeed - quite an achievement so soon after WW2. Came from the factory and the company that had built Lancaster bombers for that war.

Absolute shame that this Country hasn't developed a fighter jet in 70 years. Wish there was few of these Canucks still airworthy.

Thanks for finding this and commenting. Yes, it would be wonderful to have a 'Clunk' in the air, but I think any chance of that has sadly passed

Nice video but production did not continue until 1981. Production ended many years before that.

You're absolutely correct - I misspoke - service ended in 1981. Glad you enjoyed the video - these old aircraft, that gave distinguished service, need to be remembered.

Nice short but informative synopsis. Looks like the Grand Dame needs a little TLC though. A shame she is in rather poor condition.

Thanks Mike - yes, perhaps the Cadets at the College will take on the task. Currently, though, because of COVID, they're all at home enjoying distance learning.

I think the CF-100 could have been successful as a ground attack aircraft today. And I base this opinion on absolutely no evidence. (just wished I could have seen them flying with my own eyes)

That’s an interesting thought. It was certainly a great aircraft in its day.
