CW once again knows what they are doing when it comes to park maintenance. I do hope the park changes the theme of Flight deck to fit World Expo (and give it new Vekoma trains) and sends Time Warp to the dump where it belongs. Also is B&M involved with the Leviathan upgrades?

We went yesterday aswell with a group of us for my fiances surprise birthday present. We got a igloo which was really cool. There were some very annoying issues and mismanagment. We had a group of people invade our igloo while we were out had to kick them out, staff were not watching people coming and going igloo village until that point. Sales had no premium food wrist bands sat wait for 20 mins ended up getting the basic wrist bands said that they would work for primium in which they didnt had to go back spend more time getting new bands. Also the skating time slots dont work. Reserved time for 6 by rhe time we got to the front of the line with waiver our time had past. Nothing said on the skating to be 15 to 30mins before your time slot. Lots of staff not knowing whsts going on. Never had such a negative experience at Wonderland. Also get it was the first day. But to open at 3pm and still not being prepaeed in certain aspects not a good look. Especailly the igloo situation should not have to worry about leaving stuff in a vip igloo we paid lots of money for and have people go into it and take it over take our hot choco mugs was not very happy.

The drive sprockets need to be changed with the chain because they "bed" into each other over time. If you changed the sprockets or chain only, that existing wear on the old component would wear out the new component way faster. Its the same with motorcycle drive chains but on a larger scale.

Dragon Fyre will be out soon because Arrow Dynamic is out of business due to the lack of parts available to maintain the current coaster. Remember Togo's stand-up coaster, SkyRider.

The rights and designs for Arrow parts were sold to S&S, which is able to manufacture equipment as needed for the old coasters. It’s why Vortex is still going strong.

Hey man just a dumb question here. But cannot parts be manufactured by other companies and not just that manufacturer. Well unless it has a patient. Roller coasters are different and unique in ways but all operating similarly. Just a question ???

​@randywilson5072 As long as Wonderland has the full blueprints for the ride, any good machine shop/fabricator can reproduce parts, but they could be much more expensive as it would only be a small quantity, as opposed to a manufacturer doing a production run of hundreds or thousands. The more you make the cheaper each part can be.

Arrow has been out of business for almost 25 years, thats older than old news. S&S does still make parts. A coaster cant run for 25 years without anything breaking.

I wouldn’t call chain lift replacement an upgrade. Just regular maintenance. An upgrade would be removing Dragon Fyre to add 800’ of track. 😊
