If you left your home country expecting to land your dream job right away, you may not have thoroughly researched which fields are easier to transition into before making the move. It's crucial to identify areas where opportunities are more accessible and plan accordingly. Additionally, prioritize finding a suitable place to live, even if it means compromising on certain luxuries, like owning a car, to stay in a safer, well-mixed area with a good public transport system. When it comes to finding a family doctor, one helpful tip is to have a pregnant family member, as this can make it easier to secure a doctor. Even with the exchange rate this is still not true for the same exact position, none of my co-workers at any company is earning double...and your logic is still 100% misleading at best. Saying someone doubled their salary because they are earning USD instead of CAD fails to take into account that they are also spending USD now too. So did their cost of living double too or na only their salary?. So homes should be twice as expensive in the US based on your logic. Please please this is false information and not facts. Finally comparing Canada and the US job market is never gonna be an apples to apples thing. The US economy is much larger, a single state like California has the same GDP as the whole of Canada so what are we even talking about.
@WhizQueen4 ай бұрын
@@aduad First of all, home in US are actually cheaper compared to Canada. Even on a 1:1 USD:CAD exchange rate! Check out homes in the Niagara region of New York and compare the pricing with Niagara Ontario, tell me why it's way more expensive on the Canadian side? Unaffordable housing is the primary issue most Canadians are facing right now, the govt knows it, and the people know it. I mentioned the US as a standpoint based on location proximity to CA. Why are Canadians not able to get nearly as much opportunities? This is not me comparing the economy as a whole, why can people get menial jobs in US and not in CA? Why are creators in US able to monetize on social platforms and not CA? Canada's economy is not thriving nearly close to the other G7 countries, we're ranking no 7! This should tell you it's not about comparing to the US, but on a global scale we still cannot compete. Have you seen how our stocks are even performing? Even Canadian investors are divesting to other global and US stocks because the only companies that seem to be performing right now are Canadian banks, others are a gamble.

@@anthonyabbot7618Absolutely. They don't have the infrastructure to accommodate American style of population. They need to build those isolated places in Canada so that people move there. Otherwise people are concentrated in a few areas.
@anthonyabbot76184 ай бұрын
@@Flourish_today agreed. However someone must pay for the infrastructure. Canadian taxes are already high and with this small population, trying to replicate cities like Toronto will require more funding and hence more taxes. US benefits from their huge tax base . It's always difficult comparing 300m people to 40m people

I feel globally, the world economy is poor at this moment. Some of the points made are valid but I feel there is so much complaints in the video. It is this same mentality for everything to work sharp sharp that has made Nigeria retrogressive. It’s not always about what you get, also about what you give. You are currently a citizen of Canada and I think you should change your mindset to one. The work of building a country isn’t just a straightforward process. The video seem like you haven’t achieved anything been here and I don’t think it’s a fair analysis. Finally, the beauty of being a dual citizen is that you have the option to go back home.

@WhizQueen4 ай бұрын
Most likely surgery. I think waiting that long could still be life threatening cos health situations that require surgery could get worsened. So it’s “serious” if it’s a health issue no matter what

Why do people get so triggered when people who are on the ground speak of the facts they're experiencing? So because someone states the truth they should go back to their country? 🤦🏾♀️Canada like the rest of the world has been affected by inflation, plus the mass immigration into the country has caused the cost of living to skyrocket so incredulously!!! It's also outstanding how literally every Nigerian wants to leave their country to overpopulate other people's lands! If all of you leave, who'll make Nigeria better!!🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ anyway everywhere around the world life is expensive and many people are struggling.
